Requirements

  • A warm and friendly manner in communicating with guests to create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.
  • A "can-do" spirit and the energy to keep the dining area spotless during busy hours.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods and floor care (sweeping/mopping).
  • Knowledge of hotel services and the local community to assist guests effectively.
  • Ability to speak and receive direction (written and verbal) in English.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly as they enter the dining area, acting as the first point of contact for their evening experience.
  • Maintain a clean and inviting dining room by promptly clearing plates, wiping tables, and removing trash throughout the shift.
  • Monitor and restock dining supplies (napkins, cutlery, etc.) to ensure guests have everything they need.
  • Perform end-of-shift cleaning, including sweeping and mopping the lobby and dining area floors to ensure the space is reset for the next day.
  • Answer guest questions using your knowledge of the hotel and local area to provide helpful information.
