About the role Primary Purpose Performs all soluble evaporation smoke production activities. Circulates condensate after running regular smoke. Operates the 402 evaporator and associated equipment.
Requirements
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.
- Ability kneel, bend, squat, stoop, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions and perform elevated work.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Abilility to work overtime and use a flexible schedule.
- PFT & respirator fit test required
- Working at heights / climbing ladders
- Ability to work in hot, cold or wet environments.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to multitask run APV, CT6, and 402 APV evaporators individually or simultaneously.
- Must be able to read and understand MFG order and know the different products.
- Recommends blending equipment upgrades, modifications and/or replacements.
- Maintains daily production logs.
- Assists in performing weekly smoke plant product, materials and tank farm physical inventories and helps in inventory reconciliation.
- Assists the smoke plant supervisor in maintaining an adequate supply of mixing, blending, and other production materials.
- Maintains a neat, clean, and organized work area by cleaning daily.
- Keeps work area clean and neat.
- Complies with all corporate safety and environmental regulations and procedures.
- Complies with all HACCP Food Service procedures and guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned
