About The Position

This position is responsible for: Supporting the territorial expression of The Salvation Army’s mission by helping to equip corps, centers, and ministry units to live out the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. This role assists the department head in providing strategic, theological, and programmatic leadership to strengthen discipleship, evangelism, mission engagement, biblical justice, and culturally responsive ministry across the territory.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry, intercultural studies, or related field; master’s degree in divinity or related graduate degree preferred), AND Three years of proven experience in discipleship, mission, evangelism, social justice, or community engagement.
OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Valid State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

Provides program consultation and support to corps and ministries engaged in local and territorial mission initiatives
Coordinates collaborative evangelistic efforts and partnerships across corps, divisions, and communities
Coordinates the creation and facilitation of a Territorial Disability Awareness Council, including the development of field-facing resources, training, and awareness initiatives.
