The Evaluation and Research Project Manager at Georgetown University is responsible for overseeing the project management and administration of evaluation, assessment, and research projects within the Office of Assessment and Decision Support (OADS). This role involves managing course evaluations, coordinating university-wide surveys, and serving as the primary contact for course evaluation support, ensuring high-quality service to students and faculty. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including internal university personnel and external partners, to facilitate effective data collection and analysis.

  • Manage and administer all Main Campus course evaluations.
  • Coordinate university-wide surveys and convene the Survey Coordinating Group.
  • Support key projects within OADS and assist the Associate Vice President in managing cross-cutting research.
  • Provide high-quality service to students and faculty regarding the course evaluation process.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth administration of evaluations and surveys.
  • Work with external partners to support course evaluation administration and survey research.
  • Coordinate with university communications regarding survey project communications.
  • Develop and improve processes for streamlined collection of evaluation and assessment data.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of related experience in a data, research, or assessment-related field.
  • Strong project management skills and experience required; project management training/certification preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, including excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong data management and analysis skills, including expert spreadsheet skills; experience coding with R, Python, and/or SQL preferred.
  • Proficiency in synthesizing and preparing data and research reports.
  • Experience working with survey software (e.g., Qualtrics) and CRM platforms is required.
  • Proficiency with standard software applications such as Google Workplace and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Prior experience with higher education data processes and systems is highly desirable.
