The Evaluation and Research Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing evaluation, assessment, and research projects within the Office of Assessment and Decision Support (OADS) at Georgetown University. This role includes administration of course evaluations, coordination of university-wide surveys, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective project execution and high-quality service delivery. The position requires strong project management skills and the ability to work closely with internal and external partners to support the university's assessment initiatives.

  • Manage and administer evaluation, assessment, and research projects within OADS.
  • Oversee the administration of Main Campus course evaluations and university-wide surveys.
  • Coordinate the university's Survey Coordinating Group and facilitate its meetings.
  • Provide high-quality support for course evaluation processes to students and faculty.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth administration of evaluations and surveys.
  • Work with external partners, including software vendors, to support course evaluation administration.
  • Coordinate with university communications for effective survey project communications.
  • Develop and improve processes for streamlined collection of evaluation and assessment data.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of related experience in a data, research, or assessment-related field.
  • Strong project management skills and experience; project management training/certification preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong data management and analysis skills, including expert spreadsheet skills.
  • Experience coding with R, Python, and/or SQL preferred.
  • Proficiency in synthesizing and preparing data and research reports.
  • Experience with survey software (e.g., Qualtrics) and CRM platforms required.
  • Proficiency with standard software applications (Google Workplace, Microsoft Office 365).
  • Prior experience with higher education data processes and systems is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with diverse individuals and across various offices.
  • Ability to handle confidential data and information.
