Engineering interns at Cox Automotive EVBS will work on multidisciplinary projects focused on the development, analysis, or improvement of battery remanufacturing and warehouse logistics processes. Summer interns are typically assigned to small projects that fall into one of these broad areas.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a B.S., M.S., engineering (mechanical or electrical), computer science, or a closely related field of similar technical difficulty.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in related software/tools, e.g., SolidWorks, Eagle, LabVIEW, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Python.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of engineering projects.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to perform technical research and analysis.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.
• Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of engineering systems and equipment.
• Conduct experiments and simulations under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Learn and apply industry standards and best practices in engineering.
