About The Position

Introduction to the job We have an exciting opportunity for a summer intern to join a dynamic and innovative Technology Development team, focused on conceiving and demonstrating the technologies required for next generations of high-power extreme ultraviolet (EUV) light sources. The successful candidate must have a passion for innovation, be driven by curiosity, and have deep technical understanding, in order to excel in our Research environment. The successful candidate should be comfortable operating in our diverse mix of physics, engineering and materials science, in order to define the tin management architecture for next generations of the EUV source. You will be given the opportunity to work in a highly skilled team to contribute to the development of new technology and to close the gap between simulation and experiments via benchtop and full proto testing. Your Assignment Contribute to the development of fundamental material research in areas of Tin deposition and etching in EUV source environment or benchtop analogues. Lead anchoring studies and testing efforts on the EUV proto source and benchtop analogues to develop proof of concept and advance technology readiness levels. Perform data analysis and extract actionable knowledge to write technical reports. Survey existing literature on material fundamentals, and identify new opportunities and technologies to be used in the EUV light source. Troubleshoot issues with laser, tin delivery, and metrology systems in order to improve the EUV generation process. Performs other duties as assigned.
