The Eureka Member Assistant at CEFCU plays a vital role in providing exceptional member service and support. This position focuses on understanding and addressing the financial needs of members through effective communication and sales techniques. The Member Assistant is responsible for processing transactions, resolving account issues, and promoting CEFCU products and services, all while maintaining a professional and positive image.

  • Provide professional and knowledgeable service to members contacting CEFCU.
  • Determine financial needs using a high impact questioning strategy.
  • Educate, cross-sell, and service members on CEFCU products and services.
  • Process member account transactions and complete necessary forms.
  • Resolve member account problems and answer inquiries.
  • Operate third-party software for various banking functions.
  • Analyze negotiable items and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain individual cash drawer limits and balance nightly.
  • Achieve performance goals related to transaction volume and member satisfaction.
  • Participate in team-building activities and assist with various office duties.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Eligibility to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registration (NMLS).
  • Completion of the formal Member Assistant Training module.
  • Proficient operation of CEFCU mainframe applications and third-party systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to balance Cashier's Checks and Money Orders.
  • Proven record of relationship building and sales skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of CEFCU products and services.
  • Applicable college courses or commensurate experience.
