As an intern you will work with both management and airport staff to gain valuable experience in various areas including Airport Tenant Services, Airport Operations, Airfield Maintenance, Terminal Maintenance, Finance and Administration, Project and Environmental Management, Ground Transportation and Parking Services, General Aviation, and Airport IT.

  • Work with management and airport staff
  • Gain experience in Airport Tenant Services including Customer Service, Marketing, Indoor Advertising, Public Relations, Social Media, Event Planning, Indoor Art Program, and Airside Tenant Relations
  • Assist in Airport Operations focusing on Safety and Security, Runway and Facility Inspections, and Emergency Management
  • Support Airfield Maintenance tasks such as Signage, Landscape, and Facilities
  • Participate in Terminal Maintenance including Terminal Operations, Janitorial, and Maintenance
  • Contribute to Finance and Administration by assisting with Airport Financials and Administration
  • Engage in Project and Environmental Management involving Construction and Development, Environmental Regulations, File and Record Digitizing, and Field Inspections
  • Assist in Ground Transportation and Parking Services including Ground Transportation, Parking Services, and Landside tenant relations
  • Support General Aviation activities such as Hangar Inspections and Airport Advisory Committee
  • Participate in Airport IT tasks including Cybersecurity, IT Projects, Asset Management, End User Support, and Software Reviews
  • Bachelor's degree or currently working toward an undergraduate degree in airport management, business, engineering, construction management, environmental studies or related field
  • Demonstrate an interest in an aviation or airport management career
  • Ability to pass an FBI background check
  • Attention to detail and directions
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as unsupervised
  • Strong writing skills, ability to write a variety of communications and documents
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows operating system; Word; Excel; Outlook, PowerPoint
  • AutoCAD and ARC GIS experience desirable
