About The Position

Looking for a role where your data and analytical skills support education and training programs that make a difference every day? We have an exciting opportunity with the Education and Training Unit (ETU) with the Correctional Services division of the Oregon Department of Corrections (DOC) at DOC Headquarters in Salem, OR. In this role you will provide technical assistance for testing, data collection, and reporting in support of all Education and Training Unit programs. You are responsible for maintaining the AIC Education Database (IED), ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency, and producing data and reports as needed to support program operations, evaluation, and decision-making. You will work closely with Education and Training Unit staff to support assessment and testing processes, collect and analyze program data, respond to information requests, and troubleshoot data-related issues. This role plays a key part in ensuring education and training data is reliable, accessible, and aligned with program requirements, reporting needs, and applicable policies and confidentiality standards.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two (2) years experience coordinating or administering a program OR Any combination of experience or education equivalent to five (5) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.
