About The Position
The ETS Technician Lead Lighting position at Lipscomb University is a part-time role focused on the operation and maintenance of lighting and LED systems for various events. The technician will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of events by managing all aspects of lighting production, including the setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electricity and electronics, particularly in DMX distribution, as well as audio and video systems operation. The technician will work closely with the production crew, providing leadership and acting as the Engineer in Charge (E.I.C.) when necessary. The position also involves interfacing with clients to assist in the selection and setup of devices used in event production, ensuring that all technical requirements are met for a seamless event experience.
