About The Position

The ETS Engineer II (Citrix) position at Navy Federal Credit Union involves researching, evaluating, designing, implementing, and maintaining system and product solutions with a focus on the Citrix platform. The role requires providing technical direction and engineering support for projects and infrastructure, while also troubleshooting complex technical issues that impact business operations. Requirements

  • Familiarity with Citrix virtual applications and desktop experience (Citrix Studio, Citrix Policies)
  • Familiarity with Netscaler/networking experience (Netscaler policies)
  • Familiarity with VMware
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow request, incident, change, and asset management modules
  • Familiarity with PowerShell
  • Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio and SQL query authoring
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
  • Familiarity with Group Policy Administration using GPOAdmin or equivalent
  • Knowledge of administering and troubleshooting Windows 10 and 11
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
  • Effective database and presentation software skills
  • Effective organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Effective research, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Full life-cycle project management
  • Establish and lead project teams
  • Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications
  • Procure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/quality
  • Risk, Issue and Change management
  • Ensure successful project implementation
  • Monitor, maintain, operate and troubleshoot daily remote access technologies
  • Improve and adjust the Virtual Desktop system
  • Apply, implement, maintain, and examine documentation of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
  • Document new system components or modifications to existing components
  • Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs
  • Conduct engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems
  • Present clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through various media to enable effective business decisions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
