Job Description As a ETO Order Engineering Lead, you and your team will be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing modifications to our Independent Cart Technologies based on customer requirements. You will also be responsible for preparing studies and analyzing existing systems to reduce risk and determine what modifications will be needed. You will report to ETO Order Engineering Management and will work onsite at Rockwell office location in East Setauket, United States of America.

Requirements

  • You must have Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
  • Travel less than 10% of time

Nice To Haves

  • You can have 5+ years of management experience.
  • Experience with precision motion control systems and/or linear servo motors
  • Experience with manufacturing methodologies such as CNC machining, casting, and extrusions
  • PTC Creo and WIndChill experience
  • Use FEA and DFSS to improve for performance and cost
  • Design, analyze and the ability troubleshoot issues with electromechanical systems
  • Present analysis and test data to internal staff and customers
  • Experience working in group settings to meet project goals

Responsibilities

  • Talk with customer to understand their special requirements
  • Troubleshoot Mechanical systems
  • Work directly and lead a small team on the customization of standard products to meet specific customer needs
  • Create Designs, Drawings, BOM's
  • Work with suppliers and internal manufacturing teams to produce and test custom solutions
  • Work with Project Management, Purchasing, Planning to meet timelines
  • Partner with our Performance Engineering team to improve product costs, and solve obsolescence issues
