The ideal candidate will ensure the quality and reliability of data pipelines, applications, and services by performing comprehensive quality engineering activities across the software development lifecycle. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing a wide range of tests to ensure that all applications meet organizational quality standards and end‑user expectations.

Requirements

  • Hands‑on experience in ETL Testing and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL workflows, and data pipelines.
  • Experience with QA methodologies, defect lifecycle, and SDLC/STLC.
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Python, Selenium, Informatica, or similar).
  • Experience with performance testing, test data management, and environment management.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform end‑to‑end ETL testing, including data validation, transformation logic testing, and data reconciliation.
  • Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
  • Validate data movement across various data sources, staging layers, and target systems.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot data issues, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Implement and maintain automated test scripts for ETL and API layers.
  • Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to improve testing efficiency.
  • Leverage test automation tools to accelerate execution cycles.
