The ETL Lead position involves delivering technically complex solutions and overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of Finance data integration solutions. This role requires collaboration with data architects and business stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and efficient data pipelines. The position entails developing customized coding, software integration, performing analysis, and configuring solutions using project-specific tools. The ETL Lead will lead and participate in the development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of highly complex solutions, ensuring adherence to company standards, including robust unit testing and support for subsequent release testing. Additionally, the role includes building non-functional monitoring capabilities, providing escalated support for complex applications in production, and maintaining security controls in line with company standards. The ETL Lead typically leads moderately complex projects and participates in larger initiatives, solving complex technical and operational problems while acting as a resource for less experienced teammates. In an Agile environment, the ETL Lead is responsible for delivering high-quality working software, automating manual tasks, and engaging with the business from the design phase.

  • Develop customized coding, software integration, perform analysis, configure solutions using project-specific tools.

  • Participate in refining user stories and develop code according to acceptance criteria established by the Product Owner.
  • Bachelor's Degree and four to seven years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training.
  • Proficiency in ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Ab Initio, Talend, SSIS, DataStage).
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience running production support processes.
  • Proficiency in leading onshore/offshore models.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycles and CI/CD practices (GitLab/GitHub).
  • Knowledge in getting data from Hive/Hadoop data sources.
  • In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices.
  • Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function.
  • Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates.
  • Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information.
  • College degree in Computer Science, math or related field of study.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related degree and eight years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Knowledge of specific applications, technology platforms, programming languages, systems, or business segments.
  • Hands-on experience in data integration, ETL frameworks, and enterprise data warehousing.
  • Banking or financial services experience.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following: solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills.
  • Experience with Open-Source tools and frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience using web servers, application containers, caching technologies.
  • Solid knowledge of relational database design and development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling).
