About The Position

Peraton seeks a ETL/DATA Pipeline Engineer as a Lead Associate to support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security Support. Location: Fort Meade, MD. In this role, you will develop and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data into enterprise storage systems supporting DCDC analytics. Primary Responsibilities: Design and implement ETL workflows using Airflow, NiFi, or similar Develop data transformation logic for schema compliance Integrate data from IoT streams, APIs, and legacy systems Implement data validation and quality checks Optimize pipeline performance and reliability Maintain data lineage tracking and documentation

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
• Expert proficiency in ETL tools (Airflow, NiFi, Talend)
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience with data transformation and cleansing
• Knowledge of SchemaOne or similar standards
• Understanding of data governance principles
• U.S Citizenship required
• DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance

Nice To Haves

• Data engineering certifications preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5-8 years of specific experience
