About The Position

We are seeking an experienced ETL Analyst / Developer to support enterprise-level data warehousing and analytics initiatives for Baltimore County Public Schools. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with ETL processes, SQL Server, and Azure Cloud environments, and be able to collaborate effectively across technical teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in ETL development
• Proficient in SQL scripting and MS SQL Server, including Azure environments
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, architecture, and principles
• Experience in data modeling and managing SQL-based database hardware
• Skilled in optimizing performance, ensuring stability and scalability
• Familiarity working with SQL Server DBAs, data architects, and other developers
• Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Responsibilities

• Support analytics teams by retrieving, summarizing, and transforming data from diverse systems
• Design and implement ETL workflows
• Work closely with technical stakeholders to develop and optimize data pipelines
• Ensure reliability, security, and efficiency of data warehouse solutions
• Provide ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of ETL processes and databases
