About The Position

PIMCO's US Global Wealth Management (GWM) division is seeking an ETF Account Manager (AM) to join our ETF distribution team. PIMCO currently manages over $36 billion across 27 ETFs in the US and is recognized as a leader and innovator in active fixed income ETFs. As the premier active fixed income manager globally, we are committed to expanding our ETF business to establishing a dominant presence in this market. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join an entrepreneurial team within a rapidly growing segment of GWM, building on the success of our established ETF franchise. We are actively enhancing our platform to support new product launches and engage with a diverse range of GWM clients, including wirehouse advisors, independent advisors, and registered investment advisors (RIAs).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; CFA, CPA designations, and/or an MBA are a plus.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in an ETF client-facing role (external, hybrid, or national accounts).
  • Experience with broker-dealer home office ETF contacts is desirable.
  • Thorough knowledge of the TAMP and model landscape.
  • Existing relationships with key prospects and clients.
  • Extensive knowledge of the ETF ecosystem.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to contribute to ETF distribution growth.
  • Solid financial services background with knowledge of investment trends and home office platforms.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to engage key partners, present sales materials, and convey technical product information.
  • Exceptional client engagement skills with a history of achieving high levels of client satisfaction and building strong, lasting relationships.
  • Possession of Series 7 and 63 licenses required.
  • Clean U-4 record.
  • Willingness to travel extensively as required.
  • Self-starter, ability to work within the firm's demanding and highly focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and establish new partnerships to grow PIMCO's ETF model business with TAMPs, broker-dealers, FinTech platforms, and commercial RIAs.
  • Collaborate with existing and new strategic accounts to enhance PIMCO ETF allocations in home office models.
  • Develop marketing and sales campaigns to drive PIMCO ETF model business with existing partners and clients.
  • Partner with GWM colleagues across sales, strategic accounts, models, etc., to advocate for ETF-focused initiatives while navigating complex relationships.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of PIMCO's products, platforms, themes, initiatives, markets, strategies, and policies.
  • Represent PIMCO ETFs at industry and client events.
  • Comply with travel, expense reimbursement policies, and provide timely activity reporting.
  • Ensure the highest level of compliance with all industry standards, client firm requirements, and PIMCO policies, including adherence to all legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide feedback to PIMCO management on product demand, sales trends and client satisfaction.
