The ETD Clerical Associate I plays a crucial role in the Emergency Treatment Department (ETD) by greeting all patients and attending physicians, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. This position requires adherence to quality standards under the supervision of the ETD Clinical Manager or their designee. The associate is responsible for accurately registering all patients, conducting insurance verifications, and maintaining the ETD tracking system. Additionally, the role involves assisting with appropriate telephone communications within the ETD, including managing the switchboard effectively. This position is essential for ensuring smooth operations within the department and providing excellent service to patients and healthcare providers alike.
