About The Position

ESY School Nurse Summer Program: July 6, 2026 - August 6, 2026 Monday - Thursday, 7:45 am - 1:15 pm Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts. Current certification in CPR and First Aid. Experience in child health, community health, or other relevant clinical nursing. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Director of Student Services may find appropriate and acceptable. Responsibilities: Provide nursing services to student populations on a day to day, as needed basis. Assessment, triage and treatment of acute illness. Administer medications. Communicate with parents, faculty/staff and healthcare providers as needed. Provide emergency care in cases of injury or sudden illness. Participate in staff meetings as needed, providing updates and advice to the team, including parents and guardians. Work collaboratively with the ESY Coordinator and colleagues to provide effective student support. Perform such other tasks as may be assigned by the Director of Student Services and Extended Year Coordinator.
