About The Position

The Pennsbury School District is looking for certified and support staff to fill the following positions in the Extended School Year (ESY) Program for the summer of 2026. Final staffing will be made based upon student enrollment. Seniority will be the determining factor in who is offered positions if interest outweighs the number of positions available. Support Staff Positions Registered Nurse(s) Paraprofessional(s) II Specialized Support Instructional Assistants Transportation Aides Paraprofessional applicants must be Highly Qualified as defined by federal standards, which requires either two completed years of study at an institution of higher education, an associate’s (or higher) degree, or PDE Highly Qualified certification (Paraeducator Credential of Competency). CPR and First Aid certifications are required. ESY PROGRAM SCHEDULE ESY Dates are 6/30/2026 - 7/30/2026 (Monday to Thursday) ESY Set-up Dates (prepare documents, prepare assignments and classroom): 6/25/2026 & 6/29/2026 ESY Clean up Date: 8/3/2026 Location: William Penn Middle School Staff Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Student Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. RATES : Classified Position: Based on your current step placement on the salary scale if the role is in your current job class. Requirements
