Effective for the 2025 summer program, vacancies for several Special Education Teacher positions exist within the Division of Student Services of the Chester County Intermediate Unit throughout the County. These positions are for school age programs. Positions are temporary for the duration of the summer program only.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an individual instructional program for students.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold a Valid PDE certification in Special Education or be willing to become emergency certified in the area of Special Education.
- Current police, child abuse and FBI fingerprint clearances required.
- Must be able to work entire ESY session.
- Experience working with Special Education Students preferred.
Benefits
- Hourly Rate: 0-13 years experience= $37.00 per hour
- Hourly Rate: 14-28 years experience= $42.00 per hour
- Hourly Rate: 29+ years experience= $47.00 per hour
