About The Position

AUTO BODY ESTIMATOR INTERSTATE FORD COLLISION CENTER 125 Alexandersville Road Miamisburg, Ohio 45342 Our Body Shop is seeking a motivated individual with strong multi-tasking skills who is capable of selling collision repairs and managing the process for repair claims. Must have an understanding of collision repairs and good computer skills. The Body Shop Estimator is responsible for estimating damages to automobiles, contacting insurance companies, setting customer appointments as needed, dispatching work, and maintaining high customer satisfaction in an effective and positive manner. We are in need of an honest individual who is able to multi-task daily, has strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, can work professionally with the public, portrays a positive customer-friendly attitude, and has good oral and written communication skills.

Requirements

• Recent experience as an Estimator or Asst. Manager in a body shop or 3 years of experience working in a body shop as a Technician; estimating experience strongly preferred
• Current experience and knowledge of automotive repair per employment
• Computer literate, preferably adept in CCC computer estimating software or technician background in collision repairs
• Knowledge and understanding of the direct repair programs of insurance companies, labor time required to write estimates, handle supplements, etc.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. daily, routinely
• High school grad/equivalent; (technical training or college a plus)
• Valid drivers license with driving record acceptable to company
• Satisfactory employment references
• Pass background check
• Must be 18 or older
