About The Position

This role will bridge the gap between Engineering, Sales, and Production, managing jobs within the ERP system, creating technical layouts, and ensuring projects meet rigorous safety and quality standards.

Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting & Design, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
2+ years of related industry experience
Familiar with 2D/3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
Strong understanding of mechanical components, structural steel, and industrial construction
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and sketches

Nice To Haves

Experience with millwrights, material handling, or mechanical conveying
Basic knowledge of low to medium-voltage electrical control systems and motors
Technical writing experience

Responsibilities

Assist with job planning and management within our ERP software
Ensure all project schedules and timelines are met
Create preliminary layouts and system drawings
Perform material take-offs and maintain organized engineering documentation
Generate accurate customer proposals, quotes, and sales contracts, including pricing and credit terms
Participate in cross-functional teams to research and develop new products
Ensure all projects adhere to MSHA, OSHA, and customer-specific safety codes
