They collaborate with contractors to evaluate risks, estimate timelines, and ensure projects stay within budget constraints set by clients

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Strong computer, written, and oral skills.
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Create Standard Service profiles with in currently used program.
• Create, review, and modify service profiles to improve accuracy of department.
• Instructions, budgeted shop cost, and quotation language.
• Combine service profiles to complete project action items.
• Identify project action items for adders, additional scopes of work, etc.
• Gathering and reviewing recommendations and associated shop costs.
• Gathering and reviewing quotes for outside vendor services.
• Review and edit quote language and presentation.
• Review detailed cost report and quote presentation with production and submit to sales.
• Maintain quality notes and files for each completed quotation.
• Work with other Estimators to improve efficiency and accuracy within the Estimating Department.
• Maintain LEAN objectives within the department.
