Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing. Conduct negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing. Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle of construction to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Review contracts and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements. Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid documents and presenting estimates to stakeholders. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing changes, and new materials or methods in construction. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is required. Strong understanding of construction processes, cost control measures, and project management principles. Familiarity with contracts and negotiation techniques is essential. Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred to enhance understanding of practical applications.
