About The Position
ESTIMATOR - MAYVILLE, WI This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked in sheet metal manufacturing and fabrication (welding, brake press operation, quality technician, etc). Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Estimator is responsible for creating quotes to generate the cost of a part. This is done by analyzing each component and assembly drawing to determine the processes and enter information into our quoting software that will then determine costs. This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked in sheet metal manufacturing and fabrication (welding, brake press operation, quality technician, etc) and is interested in a position on our Estimating Team.
Requirements
- Must be meticulous and detail oriented with job tasks.
- Ability to read prints.
- Have a general understanding of metal fabrication processes.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Generate quotes for new or changing OEM products used within the agriculture, construction, industrial, and military industries. Also work on quoting our own product in Power Equipment, Automation, and Truck Bodies.
- Review drawings to identify the processes that will be used to meet the customer requirements.
- Solicit supplier quotes and review them for accuracy to ensure they quoted to meet customer expectations.
- Other duties as assigned.
