About The Position

The Estimator role at Hargrove involves preparing accurate estimates for all onsite changes and pricing requests. Key responsibilities include working under a Project Manager or Senior Estimator to ensure project success, reviewing updated plans and specifications, performing accurate take-offs, collaborating with project teams on estimates and pricing, and developing preliminary schedules for changes. Requirements

Minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience with steel erection or industrial millwright.
Must be detail oriented and familiar with systems both manual and electronic.
Must have excellent oral/written communication skills.
Must be mathematically and computer literate.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project/Primavera P6.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management

Responsibilities

Preparing complete, accurate estimates for all onsite changes and pricing requests.
Works directly under the Project Manager and/or Senior Estimator and is responsible for helping ensure the project is successful.
Review plans, specifications and other drawings, as updated, for changes.
Provide accurate take-offs.
Work with the estimating and project teams to build estimates and pricing.
Develop preliminary schedules for changes.
