About The Position

CDI Engineering Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Consulting Engineers Limited (TCE), is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries. The Estimator will estimate costs for engineering projects based on an analysis of project technical requirements, collecting and analyzing all project costs including raw materials, labor, equipment, and tooling to ensure estimates are accurate.

Requirements

• Assignment is expected to last at least 2 years
• Skilled in using Excel
• Heavy industrial and field experience is preferred in Mechanical background, pipe rack, tanks
• Can be trained in their IN Eight estimating software
• Knowledge of field work, tank building and installing pipes

Responsibilities

• Identify and quantify potential cost uncertainties to ensure costing models capture the full range of potential costs
• Update costs as necessary based on new information and project scope changes
• Interface with Project Management, engineering and procurement departments
