About The Position
A Carter Lumber Estimator specializing in Framing, Siding, and Trim will perform material take-offs for both residential and commercial buildings. A typical building estimate involves analyzing on-screen building plans and specifications. This role uses Planswift and Professional Estimating software to measure and calculate materials specific to framing, siding, and trim for Carter Lumber's Outside Sales Representatives to price and source effectively. Effective communication with the field and internal departments are mandatory for the success of this position.
