Responsibilities

• Client communication.
• Review of varying levels of scopes of work including formally advertised (written), verbally communicated, jurisdictional inspection reports, or preventative maintenance.
• Review of plans which are sometimes as-built plans and other times recent construction plans.
• Take off quantities using plans and/or aerial photos.
• Coordination with division superintendent to perform site visits and provide 'superintendent estimate sheet' detailing durations, labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor project needs.
• Independently costing out assigned jobs and drafting a written proposal.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret construction civil drawings. Plan views and details/cross sections/profiles.
• Provide accurate take off quantities.
• Attention to detail and understanding critical importance of hitting due dates.
