About The Position

As a Restoration/Construction Estimator, your main focus will be writing estimates for insurance claims and/or customer self-pay repairs/remodels. Customer service is PRIORITY as well as building lasting relationships with adjusters.

Requirements

Must have PROFICIENT knowledge of Xactimate (any other estimating software experience is a plus)
Must have at least 2+ years Restoration experience
Must have experience with working with insurance adjusters and insurance estimating
Must have experience with working with Subcontractors
Microsoft Office knowledge is preferred
Sales experience/knowledge is preferred (being able to present contracts to customers and close deals)
Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills

Responsibilities

Be professional at all times
Arrive on time to all scheduled appointments and/or meetings with customers, adjusters, and managers
Work with customers and adjusters to secure job while at initial visit
Scope and write accurate estimates
Take photos of any/all damage that can be seen (document possible hidden damage)
Work with adjusters and TPA (Third Party Admins) on accurate estimates and work within the guidelines of our TPA's
Attend Project Manager meetings (if needed) to discuss additional work that needs approval from insurance and/or customers
Constantly follow up with insurance carriers for updates/approvals of all pending estimates
Create accurate budgets for all jobs
Work with Estimator Coordinator to update all pending estimates and get estimates approved in a timely manner
In-office position Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
