Estimator/Project Manager - Concrete Construction - WI

Cobra Concrete Cutting Services Co., the Midwest's leading concrete sawing and drilling contractor, is seeking a motivated Estimator / Project Manager for our Milwuakee, WI location. This is a full-time, in-office position responsible for handling inbound estimate requests , supporting our outside sales team , and working closely with management and ownership . This role also provides estimating support to our other Cobra locations across Milwaukee/Madison, Central Illinois, Southern Illinois, and Northwest Indiana . Projects are also bid and performed all over the United States.
Requirements
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and online take-off software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with public bids, DOT and non-DOT, State, Municipal and SAM.gov system.
- Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Ability and desire to grow within the company
- Previous construction, estimating, or project management experience preferred
- Pass a required pre-employment drug screen & random
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving history
- Required to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
- Pass a pre-employment background record (7 years) & periodical checks
Nice To Haves
- Experience or interest in areas such as concrete flatwork, demolition, or GPR a plus
Responsibilities
- Handling inbound estimate requests
- Supporting our outside sales team
- Working closely with management and ownership
- Providing estimating support to our other Cobra locations across Milwaukee/Madison, Central Illinois, Southern Illinois, and Northwest Indiana
- Bidding and performing projects all over the United States
