We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to join our team. The Estimating Manager will be responsible for overseeing the estimation process for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in project bids. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for construction estimating and the ability to manage the full cycle of project estimating from initial review to final submission. The Estimating Manager will utilize various software tools to prepare detailed project estimates and collaborate closely with project management teams to understand project requirements and timelines. In this position, the Estimating Manager will review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates. This includes negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, which is crucial for the success of our projects. The role may also involve visiting construction sites as needed to assess project scope and requirements, ensuring that all estimates are based on real-world conditions and expectations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in construction estimating and project management, along with a strong knowledge of construction industry practices, materials, and methods. Excellent negotiation skills are essential to secure competitive pricing from vendors and subcontractors, and the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications is a must. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
