We are currently looking for a Conceptual Estimator, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Piping/Sheet Metal Estimator for our Estimating Department.

Requirements

Knowledge of Quick Pen and or TSI estimating software.
Knowledge of MS Office products with emphasis on Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Understanding of the HVAC and or Plumbing industry inclusive the following.
Local/National Codes and Standards for HVAC, Piping and or Plumbing systems.
Labor and material costs associated with the HVAC, Piping and Plumbing industry inclusive of SMACNA and MCAA labor standards.
Knowledge of estimating HVAC/ Plumbing systems and have an estimating understanding of the opposite trade.
Ability to prepare HVAC & Plumbing Budgets.
Ability to calculate the costs associated in preparing and utilizing square foot budgets as needed.
Five to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pre-Employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

Analyze blueprints, project front ends, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare a complete project estimate.
Prepare estimates and proposals and assist in procuring submittals.
Follow up with clients on all bids and bid results.
Maintain file management.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as project specifications, project front ends, and project contracts.
