About The Position
The Estimator works out of Stansell Electric's Nashville office, assisting in all aspects of further developing the bid proposal process for the pre-construction team. The Estimator must show strong organizational skills, familiarity with industry standards and practices, and customer service skills commensurate to the satisfactory completion of the position's primary duties and responsibilities. Advancement opportunities are available by advancing to more senior positions. In this role, you will maintain working relationships with clients, designers, subcontractors, and vendors. You will manage the bid proposal process to determine the scope of work for various projects and provide expertise to any bid-related presentations and proposals. Additionally, you will review proposal documents to determine the scope of work and prepare estimates/bid proposals. It is essential to manage client expectations as well as subcontractor and vendor involvement throughout the proposal process. You will assist in the successful closing of bid processes, including finalizing contract agreements, estimate turnover with the operations team, and setup of costing reports. Furthermore, you will support all areas of the business related to estimates and job-costing.
