JOB DUTIES / GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare estimates for potential projects. Read and understand contract documents (plans, specifications & addenda). Perform quantity take-offs, organize and price information. Establish relationships and communicate with suppliers to clarify pricing information. Assist with the preparation of bid proposals for submittal. Maintain complete and accurate project records. Assist staff members with special projects related to estimating or project management. Perform other related duties as assigned or required. Qualifications: 5+ years of work experience. Excellent working knowledge of (insert current PMC estimating software used). Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Appropriate knowledge of construction practices and methods. Professional appearance, good communication skills, excellent computer skills required. THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION.
