About The Position

At Manheim (a Cox Automotive company), we're hiring an Estimator/Auditor II. Think you've got what it takes? This position involves providing estimation services for assigned auction locations, focusing on cosmetic (body) repairs and mechanical repairs to support client needs. You will deliver accurate and timely estimates for reconditioning work, ensuring proper documentation for both cosmetic and mechanical services. Collaboration with maintenance, reconditioning, vendor, and operations teams is essential to initiate approved work and maintain smooth repair flow. You will also work closely with vendors, parts suppliers, and procurement/purchasing staff to verify accurate pricing, availability, and sourcing of required parts and materials. Tracking repair progress, monitoring completion timelines, and communicating updates with clients, transportation teams, and internal stakeholders are key responsibilities. Additionally, maintaining detailed and accurate records of repair estimates, approvals, and completed work in compliance with company policies is required. A strong commitment to safety by adhering to all safety guidelines and modeling safe behaviors is expected, along with active participation in safety initiatives, team huddles, and process improvement activities aligned with Safety Excellence.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of over-the-counter parts store experience or closely related automotive repair/estimating experience.
  • Solid understanding of both mechanical repair and cosmetic (body) repair estimating processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced auction environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
