About The Position

Zachry Group is currently looking for talented and self-motivated Estimator I to join our Estimating department in our Hammond, Indiana office. This is a great opportunity to get involved in some interesting and challenging projects at our client site.

Requirements

• Ability to use Aspen Estimating software on Zachry provided hardware.
• Connection to internet is required to perform the work.

Nice To Haves

• Aspen Capital Cost Estimator certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine estimating assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria for assigned phases of a project.
• Prepare estimate basis documents highlighting the craft scope of work as well as the sources for the quantities, vendor pricing, and productivities.
• Create and include clarifications detailing their estimate basis when clarity was not provided through proposal documents.
• Create comparisons between scope for the project being estimated and past projects which have similar scope.
