About The Position

Position Overview: The Landscape Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for landscape construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape construction practices, materials, and project management. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with project managers, sales teams, and clients to ensure projects are accurately scoped, priced, and delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in landscape construction estimating or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with estimating software (e.g., BidMagic, Accubid, or similar) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to prepare detailed estimates.
• Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs for landscape construction projects.
• Prepare and submit accurate proposals and bid packages in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and sales teams to ensure estimates reflect client requirements and project goals.
• Maintain a database of costs, vendor pricing, and historical project data.
• Provide recommendations to improve cost efficiency and project profitability.
• Assist in post-bid analysis and project takeoffs to identify potential value engineering opportunities.
• Stay current with industry trends, materials, and construction techniques.
