About The Position
As a Fire Alarm Estimator at Eastern Fire, you will be an integral part of our fire protection team, responsible for evaluating fire alarm system requirements for various construction and renovation projects. Your role will involve analyzing blueprints, conducting site visits, and preparing detailed cost estimates for fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with all national and local fire safety codes. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide accurate and competitive proposals, which are essential for the success of our projects. A strong understanding of fire alarm systems, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in estimating software are crucial for excelling in this position. In this role, you will prepare estimates and bid proposals based on your evaluation of construction documents. You will engage with customers and potential customers to determine their fire protection needs and evaluate installation options. Building relationships with customers will be key to capturing a full range of fire protection services across all departments. Additionally, you will assist in developing and implementing sales strategies, perform preliminary surveys of existing buildings to assess costs associated with the installation of fire protection services, and conduct preliminary hydraulic analyses of sprinkler systems to ensure the accuracy of sale prices. When assigned, you will also provide project management duties, further enhancing your contribution to the team.
