Estimator - Entry Level
About The Position
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Estimator to join our growing team at Armstrong Steel , one of the nation's leading manufacturers of pre-engineered metal buildings. The ideal candidate will assist in estimating buildings using MBS (Metal Building Software) and ensuring all inputs, outputs, and customer requirements align with design contracts. Requirements
- Familiarity with MBS software is a plus.
- Experience reading blueprints and architectural plans is beneficial.
- Strong mathematical skills are advantageous.
- Self-motivated, driven, and passionate about success.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must reside in or around Englewood, CO (this is an on-site position).
Responsibilities
- Review MBS job inputs , including building codes, loads, openings, and other specifications.
- Perform the initial design of buildings before final review by a Professional Engineer , incorporating any necessary revisions.
- Adapt to additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, ensuring flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
