About The Position
At Holm Electric LV, LLC, we believe accurate estimating and thoughtful design are the foundation of successful projects. We are currently looking for an Engineer / Estimator who takes pride in precision, enjoys collaboration, and wants to grow with a company that values quality and teamwork. This position plays a key role in our project lifecycle, with a strong focus on estimating, quantity takeoffs, and design support for electrical systems. This role is based in office and requires on -site collaboration. Remote work is not available.
Requirements
- Degree in electrical engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in CAD and/or PlanSwift
- Strong estimating skills
- Solid experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Clear, professional communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Highly organized, detail -oriented, and deadline -focused
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed, accurate estimates
- Create and revise electrical drawings and design documents
- Work closely with clients, project managers, engineers, and field personnel to ensure scope accuracy
- Identify cost drivers, efficiencies, and potential risks during the estimating process
- Maintain organized records for estimates, drawings, and revisions
- Contribute to multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards
