We have an immediate opening for an Estimator in our Commercial Door & Hardware Division located at our Boise, Idaho facility. This individual will work with our project managers in providing detailed estimates to the GC's and clients we work with. Our considerable growth and future expansion plans require us to hire the most capable, ambitious and career minded individuals possible. About Midwest D-Vision Solutions Midwest D-Vision Solutions specializes in specification, technical sales, and installation of CSI Division 8 Glass and Glazing / Commercials Doors and Hardware, Division 10 specialties and Division 12 Window Treatments. We represent a comprehensive line of Division 8, Division 10 and Division 12 manufacturers and solutions. Our expert team is made up of technical experts with solid backgrounds in construction, architecture, and project management. We supply and service general contractors, architects, and building owners with professionalism, speed and dependability.

Requirements

  • Past experience with construction-based accounting software systems will be advantageous.
  • We regard a Construction Management degree highly, but it is not a requirement.
  • An ability and eagerness to interface directly with clients and help us to differentiate ourselves in the marketplace is critical.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings
  • Exceptional communication skills, both in verbal and written forms.
  • Must be able to work in a team

  • Communicate with external vendors to maximize project profitability
  • Plan and specification review
  • Project specific quantity take-offs
  • Build strategic and sustainable relationships with our clients
