About The Position

The Cabinet Estimator & Designers’ primary responsibility would be to gather, assess, and estimate the cost of cabinet projects, and create cabinet layout designs utilizing 2020 Design program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Preparing proposals, along with communicating to our vendors for pricing.
Create templates for jobs.
Perform take-offs and prepare proposals using estimating and design software
Receive requests for estimating and gather necessary information such as plans, specifications, bid manuals, change orders and revisions to projects in progress.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Regular and reliable attendance.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements

• High School diploma, or 3+ years equivalent work experience
• Proficient Excel experience is a must.
• 2020 Design Software experience is a must.
• Must love working with numbers.
• Analytical thinker.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Positive Attitude.
• Self-Motivated and ability to multitask, work with limited supervision and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with colleagues and team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of tasks. Support a positive and productive work environment.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

• Industry experience a plus.
