Cartier North America is seeking for an Estimator - Quality Controller / administrator, to be responsible for examining all incoming and outgoing client and stock repairs, pieces receive in the workshop for the American market, as well as some administrative tasks.

  • Examine all client and stock repairs to assess what type of repair service is needed.
  • Systematically update the information in the system, and enter the item conditions, repair details and cost estimate in SAP using the proper system codes and while ensuring adherence to the lead time established by the brand.
  • Ensure all gems stones are matching from the original mounting, naturality and any physical damaged of the stones.
  • Ensure Counterfeit or non-original item are reported in the system.
  • Examine completed repaired merchandise to verify that the servicing has been completed in accordance to the request.
  • Examine manufactured stock merchandise to verify they are in accordance to the brands quality standards.
  • Examine gems stones from the diagnosis report.
  • Record quality issues in SAP and notify the applicable department.
  • Occasionally support with multiples inter-office tasks.
  • Knowledge and adherence of all security procedures.
  • Participate in the continuous process improvement of the workshop.
  • Assigning precious metal bank to technicians as needed.
  • Participate in cleaning and maintaining of the workshop.
  • Associates degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in fine Jewelry repair and/or manufacturing.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Ability to understand the technical around Jewelry manufacturing.
  • Computer Knowledges, Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Jewelry manufacturing diploma or bench experience is a plus.
  • Gemological knowledge is a plus.
