The Proposal Analysis Manager at Lockheed Martin Archbald is responsible for managing all proposals and material inputs for the Archbald Business within the Missiles and Fire Control division. This role involves leading the estimating team to compile cost, schedule, and technical elements for proposal development, ensuring compliance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications. The manager will coordinate activities across functional departments, analyze historical data, and develop cost models to support proposal efforts, while also mentoring subordinate personnel.

  • Manage all proposals and material inputs for the Archbald Business.
  • Lead the estimating team in compiling cost, schedule, and technical elements for proposals.
  • Coordinate the collection of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments.
  • Research and analyze historical data to develop cost models for proposals.
  • Participate in fact-finding meetings and coordinate activities related to proposals.
  • Support team management aspects, including training and mentoring of subordinate personnel.
  • Oversee material costing and coordination of supplier quotes and material audit support.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
  • Experience in presenting to senior management.
  • Experience with independent and technical reviews of work content.
  • Contract negotiating experience with the US Government or commercial entities.
  • Experience with proposal pricing and material estimating as part of business case analyses.
  • Knowledge of Government proposal requirements and contract types, including FAR and DFARS.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Master's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.

  • Financial theory, modeling, and analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Experience with Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Estimating systems (EFS).
  • Experience with Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Procurement systems (P2P).
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge/experience with MFC and/or Archbald.
