About The Position
Baptist Health is looking for an Estimates Coordinator to join their team in Louisville, KY. This coordinator is responsible for helping patients understand their health care costs by completing estimates prior to point of service, within periods guided by regulation. The team member will provide estimates for hospital (BHS) or provider (BHMG) performed services. Upon request, estimates for services provided as a downstream provider will also be estimated.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year previous insurance experience
- One year customer service experience
- Comfortable with commonly used computer applications
- Must type 40-45 wpm
Responsibilities
- Help patients understand their health care costs by completing estimates prior to point of service, within periods guided by regulation
- Provide estimates for hospital (BHS) or provider (BHMG) performed services
- Provide estimates for services provided as a downstream provider upon request
