The position involves ensuring that the curriculum taught reflects current standards within the State of Ohio industry standards, including preparation and research. The role also requires ensuring safe and sanitary practices by both students and instructors when practicing esthetics and related sciences. Additionally, the position involves maintaining academic records and providing continuous evaluation to students on an ongoing basis, including their performance in theory, practical, and supervised clinical experiences. Monitoring student attendance in accordance with school policy and providing counsel as needed through verbal and/or written communication is also a key responsibility. The educator will develop and administer theoretical and practical exams and write performance reports to evaluate students. Ongoing curriculum evaluation is essential, advising management on possible areas of needed improvement and overall program enhancements. Other duties may be assigned or directed as necessary.
