Job Purpose: Provides guests with cosmetic skin care treatments and instructions for home skin care Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time) Provides guests with cosmetic skin care treatments by meeting with clients, ascertaining skin care goals, making recommendations about different soaks, creams, or scrubs that can be applied, applying agreed upon waxing, skin peels, microdermabrasion, facial masks, aromatherapy, treatments, facials, and makeup applications as requested. - 60% Provides guests with skin care product and instructions by demonstrating proper way to clean the face and use skin care products, chemical peels and/or treatment masks, instructing clients on how to use skincare tools, providing advice on correct makeup application, and making cosmetic skin care product recommendations for purchase. - 30% Provides a safe, clean, and sanitary environment by cleaning and disinfecting tools and work area after every appointment, and ensuring shop equipment and tools are in good repair. - 10%

Requirements

• Current Esthetician License from the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology
• 1 year of Esthetician experience in a spa, salon, or hotel and resort setting
• 6 months of guest service experience
• Working knowledge of Local, State and Federal guidelines as related to position
• Ability to interact effectively with team members and guests
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
• Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks and assignments
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure
• Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions
• Ability to appear for work on time
• Ability to complete forms and documents
• Ability to sit and stand for up to eight hours at a time
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs
• Ability to accept constructive criticism
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
